Mr. Peter Tan
(President of MACRA, 2020 – 2022)

President Message

Taking over the President position during the global Covid-19 pandemic will prove to be both a challenging and trying time not only for me but also for MACRA as well as the Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Ventilation and Refrigeration (ACMV&R) Industry. However, MACRA and the Industry Stakeholders’ resilience in the past will enable us to overcome whatever obstacles that are put in our way!

During my presidency, I will work to ensure that our Executive and Board members are accessible to our members at large and focused on providing the resources needed to support the ACMV&R Industry and that we will continue to advocate on the most challenging issues affecting our members. I would like to thank all those who have volunteered, supported and contributed to the MACRA without whose support much of our work would not be possible.

I’m proud to lead such a dynamic and diversified industry, that 2020 despite it being a ‘beyond the norm’ ground-breaking year, as MACRA celebrate its 20th anniversary, that MACRA will continue to lead the way in developing and unify the diversity of the industry paving for the ultimate regional platform for all the ASEAN countries air-conditioning associations to collaborate, strengthening co-operation and making decisions which can improve cross border requirements, standards and unification for air-conditioning systems.

You will enjoy the benefits of collaboration, networking and friendship through your membership of the MACRA.
